Because the Weber County 4-H Ambassador and Jr. Livestock Ambassador Programs have been so successful, we are going to start a similar program for horse members. Here is a brief summary of the program. For more details go to http://www.webercounty4-h.org/htm/4-h-horse-ambassadors
- Horse project members currently enrolled in 8th-12th grades are eligible to apply
- Application deadline – October 15 by 5 p.m.
- Interviews – October 18 (by appt. – schedule appt when you bring in form. If you have a scheduling conflict on the 18th, schedule separate interview date with Donna when you submit your application)
- Application form is available online. This is a PDF fillable form. Teens can download and type directly into form, then print it and sign it. (It doesn’t allow teens to save the file).
- Youth must select an individual project and submit this proposal WITH their application. Ideas for projects are on the website.
- Each ambassador will be honored at Achievement Night next year based upon the points they earn. See Horse Ambassador Scorecard.
- We will present our 1st group of 4-H Horse Ambassadors at the Horse Awards Night on Tuesday, November 2.
